6. Astroneer Survival Guide

As you can see from the comic, I don’t play well with others. It probably comes back to my meticulous nature, but when I’m working in the home base, I have a strong urge to make it very flat, easy to navigate, with all the pods and extensions laid out precisely. However, using the deformation tool, it is really easy for someone to walk in and start modifying the land. This is not acceptable. I will bury you. When we found the research object with our rover, we realized at that point that we both couldn’t sit in the vehicle […]

5. #truestory

So our trip to Las Vegas did not go as planned. As we flew out on the Monday, I was sick all day. Felt sick on the plane on the way there, and then got really, really sick as we arrived to at the hotel. We stayed at the MGM Grand, and our trip was only 3 days long. So getting sick really ruined our first day. I won’t go into the details, but the comic can let you know where I spent the majority of the night. At around 3am, Nichole started getting the same symptoms, and so for […]

4. Many Games Syndrome

I recently completed Watch Dogs 2, completely…thoroughly, and while I wait for the upcoming DLC, I’ve been left feeling somewhat empty, and nothing holds my attention for long. I probably dumped about 40 hours into Watch Dogs 2, and that’s a pretty big void to fill. I played and completed Feist recently and I’m working away at Candleman. I also decided to jump back into Deus Ex as I had left them incomplete when I switched to Watch Dogs. Illestrader and I played Astroneer – which is in early access – last night and I streamed on Twitch for a […]

3. The Last Meal

This was quite the ambitious comic this week, but I’m really happy with how it turned out, even if it was a little late. The idea came to me while playing the Last Guardian, and as I was appreciating the environments, I would always catch Trico off in the distance watching me, almost stalking me. Like he was almost studying me. And I started thinking that this game could easily be a horror type game where you’re always trying to outrun this large beast. To answer any questions regarding the first panel, we ended up seeing Split, which was fantastic. […]

2. The Illestrader Kryptonite

I recently picked up Overcooked to play with Nichole. The game is a cute little co-operative cooking game where you must work together in a small, sometimes very uncooperative kitchen. Either it’s split into two, or the counter tops move; there’s always something about the kitchen that’s working against the cooks getting food out on time. Last Friday we had a group gamenight and figured it would be fun to play Overcooked in 4 players co-op. For the majority of the group it was. For one it was not. I’m really happy with how this one turned out, with the […]

1. Stranger Than Friendship

So…this is the start of a new venture. A brother website to my on-going blog and video game review site that I don’t update nearly enough as I should. Depending on how this one takes off, I don’t know what I’ll do with the other. Either way, this is going to be a weekly webcomic about myself (iRogan) and my buddy Wayne (Illestrader). It’ll be about our lives, our girlfriends, our day-to-day, and the games we play. Wish us luck
